Recorded hrs for night shift

when I work night shift and enter my hours worked it always records it on the day I started. The company I work for always records it as the day I ended my shift. Ex: if I start at 1900 on Friday and end at 0700 Saturday timesheet records those hours in Friday. Can we have the option to mark hrs when shift ends and not starts.
